This first SIGNiX release of 2025 introduces Form Export, a new tool to help both MyDoX and SIGNiX FlexAPI users at the same time. API / Integration*
-
SIGNiX Form Export™ - A new feature that allows integrators to upload and then tag a PDF in MyDoX and then, via a new button added to the MyDoX interface on the Documents tab, download a ZIP file that contains a new version of the PDF with the PDF fields on it and also additional text files with API 'snippets' representing all of the tasks / tags / fields added as well as the base64 representation of the PDF. This snippet can then be copied and pasted right into the <Form> element(s) of a SIGNiX SubmitDocument API request.
Form Export gives MyDoX users the ability to easily build PDF form libraries without using a dedicated, expensive PDF tool, and also gives customers who integrate with SIGNiX a significant speed-up when prototyping complex forms in the SIGNiX API. More information to follow! If you're interested, please contact SIGNiX Support. (SIG-1276)
-
Integrators can request changes to the Finished Signing screen, now including changing the visibility of the Review and Close buttons to better sync with the intended flow of an embedded signing approach. Integrators may also choose to rename the Resume Transaction button on the Status tab when embedding the Wizard. (SIG-2230, 2306)
-
Addressed an issue where the notary seal text indicating a remote or in-person transaction wasn't reliably printing below or near the notary stamp in an API-initiated transaction. (SIG-2339, 2363)
- Fixed an issue where fields set as optional were sometimes being ignored in SubmitDocument. (SIG-2344)
User Experience
-
SIGNiX authentication methods in MyDoX have been renamed to make it easier to understand. In addition, submitters in MyDoX must now choose an authentication method, as opposed to the system defaulting to a lower security method. (SIG-1173, 2158) For example:
-
"Email Only (Sign-All Disabled)" will now be known as "Password Only"
-
"One-Time Passcode Sent via Text Message (SMS) and One-Click" is now "2 Factor Authentication (Text Message)"
-
-
Improved interface to better show which row is being selected in the Wizard, particular when signers are being chosen for the Move Up / Move Down controls. This should improve usability when selecting users for parallel signing use cases. (SIG-2343)
-
When a user logs out, they will now be presented with a link to log back in. (SIG-2285)
-
Corporate administrators who have access to the Account Administration page may now download lists of users from either a whole account or individual workgroups. (SIG-2325)
Notary
-
Resolved a bug where the notary wasn't always being shown the correct picture of the signer's ID when multiple attempts had been made during the credential analysis process. (SIG-2160)
Architecture
-
Neither MyDoX submitters nor API transactions can start transaction where any party is tagged with ONLY 'Read Only' tasks on all document(s). All signers must be provided with an Agree, Acknowledge or Signature/Initial task. (SIG-2366)
-
Improving internal and automated onboarding as well as reporting (SIG-2258, 2283, 2324, 2340, 2342, 2345, 2346, 2349, 2353, 2354, 2355, 2361, 2364)
-
Multiple enhancements to the PDF rendering tools user by SIGNiX to improve compatibility and consistency during signing. (SIG-2299, 2378, 2403, 2407)
-
Resolved issues with MyDoX templates when they are re-named, saved or document within them are changed. (SIG-2371, 2372, 2374)
-
Various fixes for security and optimization issues. (SIG-2310, 2311, 2348, 2376, 2381, 2382, 2389)
Other Items
-
SIGNiX can now print the DocumentSet and document identifier into the header of the document, if requested. Please contact SIGNiX Support if you wish to take advantage of this option. (SIG-2143)
- Quality of life issues and minor bug fixes (SIG-1745, 2047, 2267, 2304, 2341, 2409, 2410)
-
Improved Fraud Alert to report when mobile phone number is changed in the midst of a transaction process. (SIG-2151)
Known Issues
-
There may be some focus and highlight issues during signing that do not work exactly as expected on mobile devices with smaller screens. SIGNiX is aware of these issues and will attempt to address in a patch.
