API / Integration*
-
Coordinate-based tagging. SIGNiX continues to provide options for its integrators in adding tags (tasks) to documents with the introduction of fully coordinate-based tagging in Release 178. Integrators can now provide absolute x,y coordinates (in 1/72 inch units) using the top left of the document page as the origin. (SIG-1279, 2424)
User Experience
-
To better highlight transactions on the Transaction tab in the Dashboard, transaction names are now underlined. (SIG-2416)
-
Improved layout of Accept/Decline buttons for consent to better align desktop and mobile interaction. (SIG-2462)
-
Signers can now click anywhere within a signature or initial field to place their signature, not just within the 'Sign' or 'Initial' flag icon. This should make signing easier, espeically on mobile devices. (SIG-2461)
- Small layout improvements to the ReadyDoX™ fields on the Send tab (SIG-2544)

Resolved rare bugs where multiple notary stamps could be associated with one notary signature and where under-seal text might not be added. (SIG-2398, 2433, 2434)
Architecture
-
Improved granularity of client preferences to allow for more transactional options. For example, clients will now be able to add custom push notification URLs to a transaction, if such an option is required by that use case.(SIG-1713, 2286)
-
Upgraded application server architecture to Wildfly 26. (SIG-2308, 2413)
-
Fixed under-the-hood database and query issues. (SIG-2386, 2420, 2453)

-
Various fixes for SSO (SIG-2455, 2485)
-
Added initial Authentication Attempt event for ID Verify to aid reporting and accountability for paid authentication methods. More will follow in following releases. (SIG-2458)
Other Items
-
Minor changes to internal account management to allow for granular billing reference additions. (SIG-2352)
-
Fixed issue where signer adding an attachment, and choosing certain options, could enter into a dialog loop. (SIG-2447, 2456)
- Quality of life issues and minor bug fixes (SIG-2459, 2460)
Known Issues
-
There may be some focus and highlight issues during signing that do not work exactly as expected on mobile devices with smaller screens. SIGNiX is aware of these issues and is looking for a more permanent solution in Release 179.
